<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an air bag cover so that it may be almost invisible from crewmen by leaving a web between blind holes with a weakened line where perforations of the blind holes not to perfectly pierce are linearly put side by side. SOLUTION: In a composite material composed of the three layers of a wooden fiber layer, a foam material layer and a synthetic resin film, since the tearing strength of the synthetic resin film is small, the depth of a weakened line 1 reaching the inside of the foam material layer is enough to surely and quickly break the composite material. The weakened line coincides with a prearranged breaking line 2, and has a profile which is, for example, rectangular or decided by an air bag itself or suited to the shape of an instrument panel, and the air bag folded at the fracture time of the weakened line 1 can be spread out without interruption.</p> |
