<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the increase of the inner pressure of an air bag in the case of abutting of a crewman by, in the manufacture of the air bag composed of a film-shaped bag body having elongation more than 100% at the time of fracture, blow-forming a thermoplastic or thermosetting elastomer to form the film-shaped bag body having a required shape. SOLUTION: In order to effectively ease the increase of the inner pressure of an air bag, the air bag is composed of a film-shaped bag body having elongation more than 100% at the time of fracture. As a method for manufacturing the air bag using an elastomer, a blow-forming method for forming a seamless film-shaped bag body on one stage is applied. In the blow-forming method, at least one kind of thermoplastic elastomer or thermosetting elastomer is formed into the film-shaped bag body having a required air bag shape whose thickness is 10-700μm preferably 100-500μm by a blow-forming process.</p> |
