PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for catheter capable of surely and safely fixing a catheter and readily mounting the catheter. SOLUTION: The catheter connector 1 comprises a connector main body 2, a cap 3 and an elastic member 4. The connector main body 2 comprises a channel 21 and a catheter inserting part way. A pressing part 23 is formed at the top part of the connector main body 2 and a taper face 24 is formed on the inner periphery of the pressing part 23 and an opening 25 for inserting an expanding part 42 of the elastic member 4 is formed at the base side of the pressing part 23. A guiding part 33 for introducing a catheter 5 is formed at the top part of the cap 3. A chuck part 31 for holding the catheter 5 through the elastic member 4 is installed inside of the cap 3. The chuck part 31 is composed of four rod-like holding members 32 standing in the axis direction. |
