PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record by flying colorant component in ink as ink droplets by stable electrostatic force without clogging a nozzle. SOLUTION: The ink jet recorder comprises a head substrate 12 having a plurality of parallel grooves 13 formed on one side flat surface to an end face 12a opposed to a recording medium 1, a plurality of individual electrodes arranged to operate electrostatic force at the components in the ink and having electrode layers 14 formed along inner surfaces of the grooves 13, respectively, and ink supply means 20 for supplying ink 5 to ink discharge positions 16 of the electrodes 14 of the end face 12a side. |
