The waterproof watch, for a diver has two completely separate watch movements (3,4), one used to drive a minutes hand (6) and the other an hours hand (5). The two watch movements are mounted side by side and held within the watch case (1), so that either can be independently rotated to bring the corresponding hand (5,6) into a given position relative to the hour and minutes graduations surrounding each watch movement (3,4). Pref. the watch case (1) has two adjacent apertures for receiving the watch movements (3,4) with the hour and minutes graduations marked around the periphery of the respective aperture. The zone between the two apertures contains a manual clamping screw (14) for preventing rotation of the watch movements (3,4).
