PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen vain sheets of transfer paper to the least by separating sheets of transfer paper for the first printing of a document and sheets of transferred paper for the second printing of the document simultaneously stored in a middle paper storage means from each other by a detection lever. SOLUTION: A middle tray is provided with a movable paper guide 201 for guiding the trailing edge of sheets of paper P, and the paper guide 201 is provided with a detection lever 202 and a sensor S19. The detection lever 202 is turnably journalled on one end of a support arm of which other end is turnably journalled on the paper guide 201. The detection lever 202 is adapted at its free end to move on sheets of paper P stored in the middle tray and at the other to serve a light-shielding part 202a for shielding the sensor S19. |
