<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness of an engine against the change of a load, and fuel consumption, by determining a desired throttle valve pressure reserve, namely, a AP set point, on the basis of the history of the other some factor such as an engine speed showing an engine load or the absolute pressure of an intake manifold. SOLUTION: In an industrial internal. combustion engine equipped with a turbo supercharger 12 and a waste gate valve 14, an upstream pressure sensor 66 by which pressure in a compressor delivery duct 36 is detected, a downstream side pressure transducer transdicdiecer 70 by which the pressure of an intake manifold is detected and an engine load sensor 74 are arranged, and these output signals are taken in a controller 64. Then, a desired throttle valve pressure reserve is appropriately generated on the basis of each present and preceding engine load signal. Next, this reserve value is compared with the actual throttle valve pressure reserve determined as difference between the upstream side pressure signal of a line 68 and the downstream side pressure signal of a line 72, and the position of the waste gate valve 14 is controlled according to the deviation by an actuator 80.</p> |
