PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control the direction of a flexible-cord-equipped medical instrument inside a coelom. SOLUTION: The flexible cord 2 of a medical instrument 1 is attached to the insertion rod 11 of a guide device 10. The guide device 10 has the insertion rod 11 and a control part 12, a connection 15 is provided at the end of the insertion rod 11, and a mounting part 16 connected to a drive shaft 28 pushed and pulled by the movable gripping part 23 of the control part 12 is rotatably attached to the connection 15. Also, a guide pipe 30 is passed through the insertion rod 11, the mounting part 16 is provided with a through hole, and the flexible cord 2 is held passed through the through hole from the guide pipe 30. Also, the flexible cord 2 is secured by a clamp member 32 to a pushing element 19 provided at the first end of the drive shaft 18. When the mounting part 16 is rotated by operation of the movable gripping part 23, the flexible cord 2 is curved near the position of the fulcrum of rotation of the mounting part 16. |
