PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize extremely high speed and high performance filling and packaging, by laterally sealing a tubelike web filled with fluidal contents at an interval corresponding to a length of a single container, and thereafter cutting the sealed part of the container hanging below a lateral sealer for separating containers one by one. SOLUTION: Fluicial contents are filled in a web which has been sterilized and molded into a tube, and the web is laterally sealed by a lateral sealer 20 while being fed downward by a length corresponding to an approximately single container for continuously molding pillow-like containers 10. Thereafter, sealed parts of the hanging pillow-like containers 10 are cut by a cutter into single pieces, and an end of the cut pillow-like container 10 is folded to be shaped into a parallelopiped container which is a final form. The lateral sealer 20 is equipped with two pairs of lateral seal jaws 21 which alternately move up and down, while the cutter includes a cutting unit 40 which moves up and down and holds the sealed part of the container 10 when moving downward for cutting. |
