ACTIVATION OF MICROORGANISM, DECOMPOSITION OF ORGANIC COMPOUND AND DECOMPOSING SYSTEM OF CARRIER AND ORGANIC COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently activate microorganisms and to oxidize and decompose org. compds. such as org. chlorine compds. to purify the environment without giving bad influences on the environment by activating a metabolic system and the like which effects anabolic reduction of microorganisms. SOLUTION: A material which acts as a substrate for anabolic reduction is added to microorganisms such as YMCT-001 strain (FERM BP-5282) having a first metabolic system which effects anabolic reduction and a second metabolic system which effects oxidation so as to activate the first metabolic system. Then the second metabolic system is activated based on the activation of the first metabolic system to activate the microorganisms. The activated mcroorganisms are preferably brought into contact with org. compds. in a bioreactor 10 to decompose the org. compds.
