PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loader transmission and its shifting method, improving the operability of a loader by means of down-shifting and making the mechanical protection of this loader performable. SOLUTION: A first limiting means being switching in the case where vehicle speed is less than a first mechanical allowable speed of a transmission 13 in time of making a loader controller into down-shifting forcibly or automatically to a low gear speed at the forward or backward movement, or a second limiting means being switchable in the case where the vehicle speed is less than a second mechanical allowable speed of the transmission 13 in time of making the loader into down-shifting to the loas gear speed at both the forward and backward movements is installed. Then, at the time of switching the speed gears, the vehicle speed is compared with the allowable vehicle speed determined out of the allowable value where an absorbed energy rate of a clutch 15 depends on clutch's material and form, and when it is less than this allowable vehicle speed, switchableness can be done. |
