PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain monoclonal antibody of anti-fibroblast cell growth factor 6 capable of detecting fibroblast cell growth factor 6 and useful for diagnostic, etc., by immunizing a mammal by using a substance of a specific peptide bonded to a carrier, culturing a hybridoma obtained by fusing spleen cells with culturing cells and gathering antibody protein. SOLUTION: This monoclonal antibody of anti-fibroblast cell growth factor 6 bonding to fibroblast cell growth factor 6 but not bonding to the others is obtained by immunizing mammal by using a substance of a peptide bonded to a carrier, being a member belonging to a fibroblast cell growth factor family in the amino acid sequence of the fibroblast cell growth factor 6, being within the region hardly having similarity with the amino acid sequence without the fibroblast cell growth factor 6 and having at least a part of the amino acid sequence such as the one of the formula, further taking out the spleen cells of the mammal, forming a hybridoma by fusing the spleen cells with culturing cells, culturing the hybridoma, and gathering antibody protein from the culturing material. |
