PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an end to be held in a desirable shape and to facilitate the operation of cutting a polyp, etc. SOLUTION: In an endoscope treatment apparatus formed of a metallic stranded wire 2, for use in an endoscopic treatment, the end 4 of the endoscope treatment apparatus has a small opening 4a, formed by curving one metallic stranded wire 2 like a U-turn through an angle of 180 degrees to form an arc and then forming parallel extensions of the metallic stranded wire 2, and also has an enlarged part 4b formed by causing each of the parallel extensions of the metallic stranded wire 2 at the small opening 4a to be curved outwards, and by aligning and binding the ends of the metallic stranded wire 2 together along the direction of the parallel extensions of the metallic stranded wire 2 at the small opening 4a, with an approximately triangular part 3 formed in that binding part. The binding part 3, the enlarged part 4b, and the small opening 4a are flush with one another, and the thickness of the arc part 2b at the small opening 4a is made greater than the diameter of the metallic stranded wire 2. |
