PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container having a container body part of excellent strength to be mounted in the vicinity of a head lamp in an engine room which is easily collapsed when a vehicle is collided. SOLUTION: In a heat storage container 5 in which a container body part 20 is of double structure comprising an inner side container and an outer side container, a plurality of grooves 10a, 10b are formed in an upper surface side part and a lower surface side part of the inner and outer side containers so that the grooves 10a, 10b are in the same direction. The heat storage container 5 is mounted on a side member 8 using brackets 9a, 9b, 9c so that the prescribed angleγis formed between the grooves 10a, 10b and the axis A perpendicular to the advancing direction of a vehicle. The heat storage container 5 is thus easily collapsed when the vehicle is collided in the head-on direction and the diagonally left ahead direction.
