Addition method of rare earth ion in glass structure for manufacturing an optical fiber by application of an aerosol generating apparatus and MCVD( modified chemical vapor deposition) is described. A rotary seal(4) is connected to a MCVD transfer hole, an aerosol generator, an aerosol transfer hole. The aerosol generating apparatus consists of the MCVD transfer hole for transfer SiCl4, GeCl4, POCl3, and SF4 vapor(2), the aerosol generator(3) for penetrating rare earth gas in glass structure, and the aerosol transfer hole(1) for discharging He and O2 gas, a preforming tube(5) connected to the interior of closed type rotary seal.
