The invention is a device for changing compact discs in automobiles. The device comprises an inserting opening(100), exchange controller(101), elevating elements(102,106), limit sensors(103,105, 107), horizontal feeder(104), put in/take out controller(108), multi-CD player(109), and a container(110). The method consists of a first step (S1-S5) from take out to generating a descend command signal, a 2nd step(S6) from descent to generating a horizontal feed signal, a 3rd step(S7) from horizontal feed to generating an ascending command signal, 4th step(S8), and 5th step(S8-S9).
