PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent application of an excessive load to the surface of a metal plate on the occasion of fitting the metal plate to a frame and to prevent the metal plate from coming off due to an impact of drop or others, regarding a card type electronic device having the frame and the metal plate. SOLUTION: This electronic device is composed of a circuit module 1 having a semiconductor device and others mounted on a circuit board, a frame 2 constituting an outer frame of the electronic device, a metal plate 3 and a connector 11. In the peripheral part of the metal plate 3 herein, pawls 31 are provided at several places in a state of being bent at an angle of about 90 deg.. The frame 2 has grooves 21 provided in the upper side and holes 22 provided in the lateral side and the grooves 21 and the holes 22 intersect each other. First, the metal plate 3 is stuck to the frame 2 so that the pawls 31 are held in the grooves 21. Then, a jig 4 is inserted into each hole 22 provided in the lateral side of the frame 2, so as to bend the pawl 31 of the metal plate, and then it is extracted. Thereby the metal plate 3 is brought into a state of holding the frame 2 and thus it is prevented practically from coming off from the frame. |
