Producing titanium metal from titanium di:oxide or rutile

Titanium metal is extracted from titanium dioxide or rutile in a first reduction phase at the end of which the Ti is combined with a carrier alloy, from which it is recovered in a second stage of separation, refining and casting, the alloy being recycled and used repeatedly.
