The invention concerns a high frequency antenna comprising four wings (21a to 24a) substantially oblong and triangular with a common right-angle side (25a) and right-angle apexes connected to the antenna support (3a). The antenna is directional almost perpendicular to its axis, which makes it particularly suitable as an antenna on a vehicle for picking up broadcast digital sound signals propagated near the ground. The antenna is however almost omnidirectional in a plane perpendicular to its axis (25a).
