The procedure is specified for the production of this fine sawdust based material and the constituents to produce a batch of around 1.5 kg is detailed. The sawdust is specified as fine material resulting from the sanding or finishing processes of any type of wood, excluding the coarser results of sawing and cutting. The amount can vary from 2 to 4 litres, according to the desired results. A binding material is mixed in and this, from preference is a powder glue, used for tapestry or thick paper and the amount is from 0.1 to 0.5 litres, again according to the finished requirements. Water is necessary to dissolve the glue and the dosage is from 0.9 to 1.0 litres; better results are obtained if the water is lukewarm. Finally a small quantity, from 0.001 to 0.005 litres of an oily material, such as vegetable oil, is added to aid the setting and manipulation of the paste.
