The shutter is made from steel plates held in place by magnetic strips (2) previously attached to a second steel plate (1). The second plate acts as a support for the shutter. The support plate is inserted in the accessory holder in front of the lamp lens, and is held in place by extended edges that overlap the sides of the accessory holder to form a guide. The dimensions of the support and the guide are determined by the size of the lamp to which the shutter is to be fitted. The plates can be positioned to produce the level of blocking of light desired by the operator. Colour filters may also be fitted with the aid of magnetic strips.
