The match book has a support panel of cardboard with at least two perforated cut out sections (1,2). It has one or more striking strips (3,4) and perforated strips (5-8). The support is glued to the interior of the book after folding and providing the matches. The folding of the panel can be in three stages. The first stage forms an accordion fold at each half of the panel. A second fold is effected using perforated strips (5-8) and a third fold involves placing the faces of the folds against each other.
