The Kimchi room control method of a refrigerator, in which a Kimchi room heater and a Kimchi room damper are all controlled in accordance with the signal value detected from a Kimchi room temperature sensor, comprises the steps of: determining whether a current selection function is a Kimchi maturing function or a Kimchi storing function, if the signal value is not within a predetermined range; if the Kimchi maturing function is selected, closing the Kimchi room damper, counting a current Kimchi maturing time; and if the Kimchi storing function is selected, counting a current Kimchi storing time and controlling the Kimchi room heater and the Kimchi room damper in accordance with the counted result of the Kimchi maturing and storing time.
