Control system for power supply changeover switch

The control system is for a power supply changeover switch with a generator (3), a battery (11), and an electrical load (21). A changeover switch (25) joins the battery to the generator in one position and the load to the generator in the other position. A power supply controller (5) ends the generator action when the changeover switch needs to be activated. A switch actuator (30) moves the switch between the two positions when the current flowing in it is less than a predetermined value after the generator action has been stopped by the power supply controller. It determines this after a certain time has elapsed since the ending of the generator action.
