<p>A patch, or continuous piece of material, is described for use in needleless injection of a stream of injectate through the skin of a subject. In the case of the patch, this is adhered to the skin of the subject prior to injection, and injection takes place through the patch, which is pierced by the stream of injectate. The patch remains temporarily adhered to the skin after injection to provide protection.</p> |
