<p>A thermal head for a thermal printer. Since a flexible wiring board (4) is bent in the vicinity of a soldered joint (8) between a common electrode (23) for a heater (2) and the flexible wiring board (4), the soldered joint is prevented from being separated by virtue of the resilient force, expecially, at ends thereof, realizing a reliable thermal head. Provided are a central conductor pattern (42b) on which a central copper foil removed portion (42d) is formed by removing copper foil bonded to a base film (41) and both-end conductor patterns (42c) on which both-end copper foil removed portions (42f) having a width greater than that of the central copper foil removed portion are formed at both ends of the central copper foil removed portion. The both-end conductor pattern portions (42c) are low in the ratio of copper foil and in the rigidity, and therefore it is possible to prevent the soldered portion from being separated at the ends thereof.</p> |
