<p>The present invention pertains to the field of material gas-flame processing (cutting, trimming) and relates to the manufacture of devices for such processing such as a hand-held gas burner or a hand-held cutting torch. The hand-held device of the present invention comprises a body (1) with a system of channels, two of which consist of parallel gas-supply channels (4). This device also comprises control valves (8) mounted on said body for closing the gas-supply channels as well as gas feeding pipes (9) that extend from the body for connecting it to the nozzle (14). The composite body of this device includes two parts (2, 3), wherein one (2) of said parts is used as a handle and comprises the gas supply channels (4) while the other comprises the control valves (8). One at least of said parts comprises, as viewed in the profile direction, a section that remains constant along its entire length, wherein said parts are directly and removably attached together by connections. The device construction of the present invention lends itself to easy high-output manufacture.</p> |
