<p>A carboxylated nitrile copolymer rubber exhibiting (a) an acid equivalent of 1 x 10-4 ephr or above, (b) a [peak height assignable to carboxylic anhydride] to ([peak height assignable to carboxylic anhydride] + [peak height assignable to carboxyl]) ratio of 0.5 or above as found in infrared absorption spectrophotometry, (c) a Mooney viscosity of 15 to 200, and (d) an iodine value of 80 or below; and process for the production thereof.</p> |
