Access turnstile for pedestrian and bicycle

The access turnstile has an automatic card reader, a code input device, or a remote operating control for releasing the turnstile to allow its rotation in a given direction. The turnstile has 2 opposing panels (7) mounted on a rotary platform, for allowing access of a pedestrian together with a bicycle. The opposing panels divide the platform into 2 semi-circular segments, each provided with a standing area (2) for the person and a slit (8) for reception of one of the bicycle wheels.
