Laminated wooden window frame

The frame may be used for a double-glazed window. Two closely-spaced panes of glass (4), may be separated by a distance piece and may rest in a frame made of several laminae (5-9) made of wood. The planes of the laminae lie at right-angles to the planes of the glass panes. There is a wooden capping strip (2) which is fitted on the inside of the frame and lies in a plane at right-angles to those of the laminae and covers their edges. There is a hollow plastics profile (3) covering the outside of the wooden laminae.
