Hydraulic solenoid control valve

The valve has an element (40) rotationally fitted about a middle horizontal axis (52) and moved by the solenoid coils (12). The piston-shaped element has an asymmetric weight distribution with the centre of mass parallel to and offset from the centre axis. A pressure correction duct (47) is set through the element at the lower part of the heavier section of the element. The asymmetric design ensures that the pressure correction duct remains under the level of the fluid, even with air in the valve system. The asymmetric weight distribution is obtained by several blind bores (53) in the upper part of the valve element.
