Airfield night illumination method

The method has the following steps for each lamp to be inserted: (a) The existing runway is drilled until the natural foundations are reached; (b) A complete "progression-controlled target-directed" hole is made until it is in the region of the previous hole; (c) One or more power cables and/or empty pipes are drawn into one of these holes; (d) A lamp is placed into the first hole and (e) is glued there. A further step is to make a shoulder in the first hole after it has been made. Furthermore, after step (b), that hole is widened using a special head. This second hole is made from a cable trench at the side of the runway.
