<p>Compounds which sufficiently inhibit LRAT or ARAT catalyzed esterification of retinol into inactive retinyl esters, have the same effect on keratinocytes as retinoic acid. Thus, effects of retinol or retinyl esters in combination with these compounds are analogous to treatment with retinoic acid.</p> |
