The invention discloses a device for controlling the inflation of vehicle wheels consisting of a wheel rim (3), an inflatable tyre and valve, for inflating the tyre, comprising a manometer mounted at the centre of the wheel and coaxially with it and comprising a mark or symbol such as a coloured zone corresponding to a normal pressure (or a range of pressure) for inflating a tyre, and a linking tube (2) for connecting the manometer with the tyre. The said tube (2) for connecting the manometer with the tyre. The said tube (2) is made of a copper alloy and is equipped, at least at one of its ends, with a pressure tapping screw (1) or rivet at the said wheel rim (3) by a perforation, treaded or not, provided in the rim. The screw (1) or rivet is preferably soldered to the said tube (2) which runs through them and is preferably made of copper or a copper alloy. The linking tube (2) comprises preferably two distinct portions, arranged end to end and connected by a copper alloy sleeve, bonded or soldered at one end of each of the said portions. |
