In a current-driven thin film transistor display device, both purposes of decreasing the off-current of a switching thin film transistor and increasing the on-current of a current thin film transistor are simultaneously accomplished. In order to accomplish the above-mentioned purposes, the switching thin film transistor is constructed in an LDD or offset structure and the current thin film transistor is constructed in a self-aligning structure. Alternatively, both the switching thin film transistor and current thin film transistor are constructed in LDD or offset structures and the LDD or offset length of the switching thin film transistor is made longer than that of the current thin film transistor.
