Exhaust gas reinjection valve for IC engine intake

The reinjection valve has a housing to guide the intake charge and a metal duct for the exhaust gas. The latter, connected to the housing forms a sealed seat for an obstructor. The exhaust gas duct is connected to the exhaust pipe, and the connector can be formed as a sheet metal pipe. The connector pipe can have a flange (36) by which it is connected to the housing. The flange can be annular (37, 4e) and extends radially with a return section (38) to enclose a peripheral rib (39) on the casing.
