Automobile navigation device with information display

摘要

The navigation device provides the vehicle driver with different types of navigation information selected in dependence on a defined priority sequence, so that only a relatively small amount of information is provided at a time. The priority sequence may be determined by the medium used for providing the information, with alteration of the priority sequence under control of the driver. The selected information are provided by a head-up display directed onto the front windscreen.
