Amplifier circuit for audio signals

The amplifier circuit (2) includes two amplifier stages (4,6). A feedback loop supplies the output signal from the second amplifier stage to the input of the first amplifier stage. A second feedback loop supplies the output signal of the first amplifier stage to the input of the first amplifier stage. Preferably, at least one of the feedback loops contains at least one passive component, e.g. an ohmic resistance (46,62;46,42,44) and an active component, e.g. a transistor.
