A subepithelial turbidity inhibitor containing as the active ingredient N-(3,4-dimethoxycinnamoyl)anthranilic acid represented by formula (I) or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof, useful for refractive corneal therapy, such as keratoleptynsis or radial keratotomy, and for preventing or curing subepithelial turbidity caused by wounds accompanied by corneal trauma.
