Transmission chain for continuously variable cone pulley gearbox

The chain has individual chain links connected by articulated members formed as pairs of rocker members. The end faces of the rocker members transfer the friction forces between the cone pulleys and the transmission chain. The members are secured at least in part by security elements (33) against moving sideways out of the recesses in the chain links. One security plate is allocated to at least the outside plates of the chain defining the chain width.
