Interception prevention method for cordless telephone

The method involves forming a speech scrambling circuit which scrambles and descrambles speech in both a base station and a hand set. The scrambling circuit is operated when chosen by a user during telephone call. The circuit is switched on in both the base station and the hand set when the user operates a switch. The scrambling function is switched off when the user operates another switch.
