Modular motor vehicle wheel unit

The modular unit consists of a lightweight wheel carrier, brake carrier, and wheel bearing. The wheel bearing (1) is pressed with its cylindrical outer jacket into a housing (4), which has integrated brake fastener elements (5). It is axially screwed to an aluminium wheel carrier (8) in such a way, that the wheel bearing unit is clamped and fastened at the same time. The wheel bearing is formed as a modular component.
