An intermediate support (19) is rotatably mounted on a first axle (L) on the housing (1) of the window winder. One end of an arm (20) of the crank (20,22) is pivot mounted on a second axle (21) parallel with the first (21) and swivels against the action of at least one restoring spring (23). At least one coupling (17,24), when the crank (20) is swivelled out of the neutral position in relation to the intermediate support (19) from a first state in which the input (13) and output (6) shafts are connected, shifts into a second state in which the output shaft and the intermediate support are connected.
