Ceramic cooler for power semiconductor component

The electric component cooler has at least one internal cooling duct, whose inner cavities determine the coolant flow path. The cooler is of integral configuration and the duct coupling branches are of the same material as the cooler. The branches are formed on, or fitted to the cooler. If the latter consists of two halves, the coupling branches of the same material are complete or divided and fitted to one or both cooler halves. Pref. the used material is aluminium nitride. The coupling branches may be parallel and/or pointing to the same cooler side, and/or may not exceed the cooler width.
