Plastics clothes hanger with integral clamps

The one-piece plastics hanger and hook incorporates a slit and resilient finger (16) to provide a clamp for the garment being displayed. This finger which forms part of the clamp (14) moves in a direction across and away from the adjoining spaced wall section (18). The finger is mounted on its two opposing sides at a distance from a section of the hanger (10). The finger has a moulded clamping nose pointing towards the surface wall section and on moving away from this wall section passes into a space (32) to increase the slit (20) as the garment is inserted into the slit. Its clamping nose remains in clamping engagement with the attached clothing item (34).
