Following the casting of sections of concrete pipe, the pipe sections are cured in the upright position, layer upon layer within a frame formed by upright columns (14) linked overhead by a crossbeam (13). The crossbeam is fixed to a hoist (4) beam (6,12). The top layer frame is spanned by a second frame (21) which interlocks as required with the bottom frame.
