<p>The present invention contemplates a new formulation for a microparticle used in a drug delivery system. The microparticle is a blend of a biodegradable polymer and a water-soluble polymer. The microparticle also contains a therapeutic compound to be delivered. The present invention also contemplates a method of inhibiting the migration and proliferation of smooth muscle cells using the microparticle of this invention.</p> |
