FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: water steam is used as working medium in rotary expansion machine. Steam is fed through inlet channel to rotors made in form of Roots wheels. Rotors are made up of several plates tightly pressed to each other in process of assembly. Rotor machine housing consists of rotor housing and two covers of similar design. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities, simplified design of rotors and process of assembling of machine. 2 cl, 2 dwg
