Disclosed is an optic magnetic disc player. The player includes a housing guide means which vertically guides a housing(40) having a spindle motor(82) and a pick-up(83) attached, a clamp guide means which vertically guides the clamp(30), and an inter-dependent means which simultaneously moves the housing(40) and the clamp(30) in opposite direction according to each guide means. The spindle motor(82) makes the disc safely arrive on the disc plane from the vertical direction. the clamp(30 and the spindle motor(82) are approached each other and the safe arrival of the disc and the clamping is simultaneously performed. Thus, the safe arrival of the disc and the clamping can be safely performed.
