Electrochemical measuring apparatus giving high accuracy

Apparatus for electrochemical measuring processes has a first electrode (26) in contact with the ambient medium and a second reference electrode (28) in liquid connection to the first electrode, which is placed in an electrolyte inside the apparatus. The novel features are that the electrolyte is in an open zone (20), in which a piston (12) delivers the electrolyte under slight pressure and the zone (20) behind the piston (12) is in communication with the ambient medium to balance external pressure differences.
